About Emergency Animal Care & Help
Emergency Animal Care & Help (EACH) is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting Maui residents and their beloved pets. Our mission is to provide low-income households with resources and emergency funding for urgent veterinary care. When a pet is at risk of surrender, euthanasia, or neglect due to financial hardship, EACH steps in to help keep families together.
Our work not only supports animals and their people — it also alleviates pressure on other local animal welfare organizations, such as the Maui Humane Society, by reducing the number of animals entering an already overwhelmed system.
In addition to emergency assistance, EACH is committed to community education. We provide outreach on responsible pet ownership, local veterinary resources, and preventative care, empowering residents with the knowledge and tools to care for their animals long-term.
Products & Services
We offer compassionate support to Maui residents facing emergency situations with their pets. When an animal becomes ill or injured and their owner is at risk of having to surrender or euthanize due to financial hardship, they can reach out to us for assistance. We help supplement the cost of veterinary care to prevent families from having to say goodbye too soon.
In addition to emergency funding, we provide education on responsible pet ownership and available resources through community materials, outreach, and open discussion.
