  • When I was a kid I used to play with Legos all day long. I could spend hours creating. There was something about having a big bin of disconnected pieces and putting them together to create something new and exciting.

Now as a CPA I look at organizations and issues the same way. I don't see organizations as departments but as interconnecting webs of individuals. When I was a kid I used to play with Legos all day long. I could spend hours creating. There was something about having a big bin of disconnected pieces and putting them together to create something new and exciting.

Now as a CPA I look at organizations and issues the same way. I don't see organizations as departments but as interconnecting webs of individuals. I thrive in the complexity of different industries and problems. I am as comfortable talking to a maintenance manager about deferred maintenance as I am talking to a state senator about funding needs and understand both are important. I see how the pieces fit together. I understand the second and third order effects. But deep down it is the love the puzzle that drives me. I thrive in the complex and have time and again, over my career, gone far above expectations to achieve things no one thought was possible.

Jenifer Franklin is a coach dedicated to helping business owners increase their happiness and their profits. With over 30 years of experience as a business owner, an executive, a manager, a lean process improvement consultant and a leadership and organization development consultant, she excels at empowering individuals to thrive in their work.

"Being a small business owner was by far the most challenging experience I ever had. What I know now is that I made it so much harder on myself than it needed to be! I was usually exhausted, sometimes elated, frequently scared, and rarely at peace."

If this sounds familiar, Jenifer can help.

"Higher profits don't solve every business challenge. Indeed, financial prosperity brings new ones! But the new challenges are, as they say, good ones to have."

  • I have been working in the granite business since 2012, working with organization of schedules, estimates and promotion at Best Stoneworks.  Raising a family of 3 (4, if you count my husband) on Maui has been rewarding.  The challenges of meeting the demands of work and family have molded me into a efficient and hard working individual.
